As a citizen of this planet at heart and a citizen of the India officially, I wish you all a happy Independence day...!..

Thanks to the efforts started by few people in 1857 who loved and thought about freedom from authority and autocracy of British rule,East India Company .The Britishers,East India Company intelligently studied, researched the strengths and weakness of Bharth in order to do their trade successfully and possibly mend their ways to become a supreme authority in a nation with wide heritage. They adopted a well devised plan called divide and rule which is a perfect example for the quote "United we stand, divided we fall".The plan worked wonders for them and it took 257 years for the native of Hindustan to raise a movement which in turn took 100 years to fulfill the desire of freedom and democracy from a foreign rule.In this process many have fallen and the strong cultural link was broken yet we stand alone and distinct in the eye of other countries for our heritage, culture and further more unity in diversity.Yes, coming to my point of unity in diversity as a guy from south India I seldom know other languages so travelling form one state to another is itself a huge cultural shock and if a guy from other country decides to tour India he would surely have the experience of travelling 28 different countries ohh..sorry 29 it is..29 different countries because of their cultural heritage, food, language etc and yet we live together as one nation called India and enjoy the fruits of the seed planted in 1857. Respect to the fallen heroes like Bhagat Singh,Subash Chandra Bose,Chandersekar Azad who sacrificed their lives for the freedom we breath.Practically speaking their movements were sure to be a failure(not sure about Bose) yet on a broader perspective it is a huge success. They increased the thirst for freedom and inspired and continue to inspire many to fight for a good governance.Yet above all the man who inspired the world itself is Mahatma Gandhi ji who by an unique movement called Ashimsa which bought in common masses to the freedom movement accelerated the movement for freedom and is credited hugely for bringing in the much coveted democracy.Thank you all it is because of you people we have freedom.Living in India what I learnt about freedom is it can either degrade you further or you can grow exponentially to see unseen heights..It is up to to you to come to conclusions on where we stand now.

On this day I wish India to be great nation which stands as an good example for others...

Was remembered of the history lessons during school days when I wrote this write up.History is always fun to learn and teaches a lot about not committing the mistakes those people made.Ohh sorry I forgot the Persians were the first to invade India..ohh no..long story..maybe next time...btw..thanks for the Taj Mahal..

It is a gift to be a human , it is a delight to be born on earth and I feel proud to be an Indian...‪#‎JaiHind‬ ‪#‎JaiHo‬..‪#‎BharthMataKiJai‬ ‪#‎SugandaraDinaVazthukal‬..

The legendary Tamil poet, lyricist, actor Padma Shri Vaali sir(T.S.Rangarajan) passes away due to respiratory illness.

I once got an opportunity to see him at a function couple of years back.I was sitting on the first few rows and he was talking about Beatles and other bands and relating them to the greatness of MSV sir.

Then a question was asked to him that he is the person who wrote great lyrics like "Kan pona pokila Kaal pogalama" ,"Mundrinilae en moch irrukum" and he is the same person who wrote "Mukabula" ..He quickly understood where it was going and he said.."Porul(meaning) undan ezhudiya bodhu porul(money) varalvillae..Porul ilamal ezhudiyabodhu Porul vandadhu..En vetilyum adupu eriya vendama..?.(When I wrote with meaning I did not get money..But when I wrote without meaning I got money..My family needs food..right.?..)"

Also, when a person was praising him "You wrote lyrics for yesteryear heroes 90's heroes and present heroes..you are great.." for which he added "nalaya hero kum naan ezhuduvean(I will also write for the next generation too)..I remember his speech and that was an inspiring day..I was lucky to have met the legend .Great man.. and salute..___/\__

RIP sir....Though you have left this world ,you will live with us through your lyrics..!!

Influence of character on surroundings.

Well to start off there have been many stories how a person's personality affects his surroundings and has a lasting influence on others. We have experienced it ourselves. But there is one such incident from the epic Ramayana which can be analogous to the statement above. Before reading this I request the rational readers to look at the psychological implications rather than  questioning the incidents.

Well the story starts like this.We all know Lord Rama practiced monogamy when polygamy was famous and the idea of having relation with more than a women was common. Also Lord Rama's father Dasaratha followed polygamy. It is known that Lord Rama did not stray his thoughts on any other women other than Lord Sita.

We also know that Ravana had liked Sita and wished to make her his own.But he could not do it because he had a curse that if he was to touch any women he must have her consent ,else he will burn into ashes.Ravana had a power to turn himself into any form .He tried many forms to get near Lord Sita but ended up in vain.By this time you would have thought why not change into Lord Ram's appearance and approach Lord Sita.Spot on..!..The same advice was given to Ravana by his minister on seeing his unsuccessful attempts.

On hearing this Ravana said "You being a minister can think this much, I am the king ,the ruler don't you think I would have thought of the same.? I tried to take Ram's form many times but I had no interest to approach Sita because whenever I assume his form I lose interest in thinking about other women. In his form my mind does not entertain the thought of other women".

This story was read in a magazine(Infinithoughts) and this is my interpretation of the incident. Now I leave it to the wonderful thought process of yours to interpret this incident and come to conclusions which may vary from my interpretation. ..:)

Congrats Team India..!

The controversies back home seemed to have unified and gelled the team in such a way that each and every player complimented each other and have produced an emphatic success in Champions Trophy in its final edition.Team India will go down in the history as the last team to win the final edition and Dhoni as the only captain who has won T20WC,WC,Champions trophy,Test No:1 .

I have not watched a single match in the CT to comment on the tactical moves Dhoni made and his captaincy on field but what I did was follow the reports and interview he made which evidently showed that he shielded the team from any sort of external pressure. In the past he has soaked into utmost pressure on the field and more often than not delivered the result in style for he is the world's best finisher but this time around the pressure was all over the team both on the field and off the field and he has risen above all hate and lead the team to a phenomenal success.

Just before the start of the series the people(due to media) started to jump into conclusions.Right from his possibly wrong business deals to quoting him a puppet, Dhoni was attacked from all the corners and people started to lose hope. One simple thing he did was just made results do the talking and flicked the others just like a dust on the shoulder. The ease with which he does it still amazes me.His clam demeanor even in the advent of the "world falling apart" situation makes me look at him in awe.I have always said Dhoni is the best man manager on field but now I can go ahead and tell he is one of the best thing to have happened to Indian cricket and he is the best captain.  A true Champion..!
